Closing a ticket from Support Bot

You can also close a ticket from Support Bot that you have created.

When you believe the reason for creating the ticket has been satisfied, there’s no need to wait for the agent to close it. Desk365 empowers you to promptly close the ticket yourself directly through the Support Bot. In order to do this, the first step is to ensure that the option for contacts to close tickets from the Support Bot is enabled in the Admin Portal. Simply navigate to Settings > Admin > Helpdesk, check the “Allow Contacts to Close Tickets” option, and hit save.

Here’s the step by step procedure for closing a ticket from Support Bot.

1. Navigate to the Desk365 Team Support Bot.

2. Click on the ticket that you need to close from list of tickets card.

3. Now click on ‘Show more’ in the Ticket Details card.

4. You will find the ‘Close ticket’ option if the ticket has been created from the Support Bot.

5. Once the ticket has been closed, you will be notified like this.
